Fail Again. Fail Better.Chief AI Officer

Chief AI Officer

The model is only
the beginning.

AI strategy, working systems and the change that makes them stick. I hold the AI seat inside your business, usually beside the marketing seat.

01 / The role of the work

Adoption is the work.

Leadership pushes. Teams quietly keep the old process. My job is to close that gap: set the AI strategy, build useful systems and lead the change so people keep using them.

The systems are built inside the teams that own the work, across markets and languages. Daily use is the test. Twelve years of marketing leadership keep the work grounded in commercial decisions.

02 / What it looks like

What the AI seat owns.

Explore the work, one part at a time.

01 / Strategy

Decide where AI belongs.

Roadmaps, operating models, build-versus-buy decisions and alignment with the leadership team. A business direction for the tooling decisions.

02 / Systems

Build into the working day.

Agents, workflow automation, CRM and data integrations. Systems built around existing work, with clear ownership and handover.

03 / Adoption

Make the team capable.

Training, mentoring, prompt libraries and playbooks. The change work that turns a useful pilot into a normal way of working.

04 / Governance

Make the boundaries clear.

A written AI policy, approved tools, data boundaries, human review and vendor diligence. Clear go/no-go decisions before a workflow reaches production.

03 / The right fit

Three questions worth answering.

01

Where is AI being used?

Keep a living inventory of tools and workflows, the data they touch and the decisions they influence.

02

Who can use what?

Give people clear rules, approved tools and a named owner for decisions and exceptions.

03

Can the team use it well?

Build practical skills and review habits, supported by training and reusable working material.

04 / Working together

Two ways to hold the seat.

The same method, shaped to the mandate.

01

Fractional

A standing leadership seat, from one day a week to deeper involvement. Six-month minimum, designed to run continuously.

02

Combined

Marketing and AI held together. One person makes the decisions where the two meet, with the balance reviewed quarterly.

03

Full-time

For a company where AI transformation is the central bet. Full-time in the room, accountable for the agreed mandate.

The person behind the work

Work directly with Anže.

Based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Senior marketing leadership, hands-on AI implementation and a direct working relationship.

Q01 Is this a consulting project or an executive role?

A standing executive mandate. I hold the Chief AI Officer seat fractionally today and consider a full-time mandate for the right company.

Q02 Do you build the systems too?

Yes. The work includes agents, automations and integrations, alongside strategy, governance and adoption. The system and the team capability belong together.

Q03 Can this sit beside a fractional CMO engagement?

Yes. This is how most of my current work is structured: one person holds both mandates on one contract.
